The Client Portal enables secure data storage and communication. Sensitive information no longer needs to be sent via email or other channels. At the same time, all important content related to your project is stored in one central location. Additionally, we always keep track of deadlines and tasks.
Why Data Security?
Tax data is sensitive information – it concerns finances, shareholdings, and often private wealth matters. Therefore, BrinerTax relies on high-level protection through Swiss hosting, end-to-end encryption, and clear access controls.
Hosting, Access & Transparency – Security Without Compromise
Swiss Hosting
All data is processed exclusively on servers in Switzerland or the EU. Sensitive information and documents are stored exclusively with Tresorit, Nextcloud, Proton Drive, and Proton Mail – these are hosted with data protection-compliant providers with data processing agreements (DPA) in Switzerland. Only video conferences and appointment data are processed on servers in Norway and Germany.
End-to-End Encryption
Sensitive documents are stored exclusively on Tresorit – with zero-knowledge encryption. Communication takes place via ProtonMail, verified messenger services (Signal; WhatsApp upon request), or encrypted web portals (Tresorit, Nextcloud, Whereby).
Your personal access to the Client Portal is based on Tresorit (Swiss hosting). Access is protected by default with two-factor authentication.
Audit-Proof Storage
Confidential files are systematically versioned, archived in an audit-proof manner, and, upon request, stored separately in a secure archive area (Tresorit) – with encrypted access.
Full Transparency
Upon request, you receive access to all data protection-relevant documents – including the revFADP compliance matrix, DPA register, SLA, and a detailed overview of all tools used (Linux, GrapheneOS, etc.) and their data protection status.
